receptive. Especially if the email has been asked for, commonly known as

they aren't, spam is a big issue and mails are getting filtered quite
aggressively by the various isp's, so what does the future hold ? maybe it
will create a whole new marketing wave lets wait and see, but at this

in list is still one of the most important aspects of your
marketing on the net and will produce sales for you on an ongoing basis,
use what ever it takes to capture email addresses on your site, this is
the life blood of your sales now and in the future

There are various ways to go
about this, I would suggest offering the prospect either a gift or a free
marketing course ( maybe a five day marketing course, free e-book or
product) you go about this by setting up an autoresponder trigger on
your home page, when your prospect closes your site a little box will
appear and ask them if they would like to receive your offer, they would
have to enter their email address to receive it

Another way is to add a
field form to a page on your site, it's easily generated in front page and
the fields can be specific to your choice

automatically gathered and can be downloaded in either a webpage format or
alternatively in excel or access

splash pages ... make contact with the leads and see which are the most
responsive and add them to your response list, take the rest of the leads
and load them into an autoresponder with a follow up series, giving them
the option to opt out at anytime, try and include freebies and make the
series as interesting as possible

Ezines are a far better
option than using safelists an advert can be inserted into an ezine by
contacting the author,you can also publish articles, the adverts differ
from solo adverts to 3-4 liners, choose ones that suite you best

Remember how you sold your
car and stove you didn't need, where you look for a job, well that's
exactly where you need to advertise your product, you will be quite amazed
at the result

I had an insurance brokerage
with about 8 marketers working for me, my marketing campaigns would last
about 3 weeks, during the course of the marketing I would get the
occasional new call bar my usual ones and then about 3 weeks later, there
would be a burst of calls, this was purely the efforts of the campaign, so
be patient, they'll all pay off in time, the methods used were all of the
